Stuart has a dual career as a musical director and as a singing coach for TV and the West End. As a singing coach he has worked on shows such as School of Performing Arts for E4 as well as Any Deam will Do, How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria? and Let Me Entertain You for the BBC. He was Adjudicating Musical Director for the 2006 Voice of Musical Theatre Competition and devised BBC Talentís Be A Musical Theatre Performer and was recently a judge for the BBC's Young Musician of the Year 2008.
Conducting credits include a season with Sweeney Todd for Värmlands Opera in Sweden and various shows in theatres from London to Russia, Barbados to America. Musical direction includes the West End show Zipp! 100 Musicals For Less Than The Price Of One with Giles Brandreth and Itís Almost Like Being In Love at the Royal National Theatre with Anita Dobson and Sîan Phillips. Stuart also runs a busy private teaching studio for West End singers.
